Our take
The Minibrute 2S NOIR is a beast of an analog synth. The sequencer is hands-on and the arpeggiator adds instant movement. The effects section—distortion, filtering, overdrive—is vast, letting me sculpt aggressive tones. The USB interface simplifies recording. The included headphones are usable but nothing special. At $499, it's a great value for a fully analog synth with a sequencer. My only hesitation is the lack of patch memory; you tweak knobs and lose settings. Also, the keyboard is replaced by a sequencer, so no keys for playing. But if you want a raw, powerful monosynth, this is it.
